Love an existing Origin design but want to make a slight change? We can tailor many of our rings and accessories to your liking. Examples include, but are not limited to, setting a different size or shape center stone than those available for your setting, using gemstones as side stones along bands, changing the shape of the side stones, selecting a basket setting instead of a prong setting, and creating a two-tone design. For those looking to create something unique, our 4-step custom jewellery design process makes it easy to create your dream engagement ring, wedding band or accessory.
Step 1 - Quote Request
Contact us and fill out our design form to receive a complimentary initial price quote based on your design concept, precious metal, gemstones, and ring size. In order to begin the design process, we need to see your vision. Please provide visual references and product specifications in our request form.
Step 2 - Concept
Our jewelry designers will take your ideas, drawings and images and work together with you to create a design concept. Our staff of GIA Graduates can help you select the perfect conflict free diamonds and sapphires for your design.
Step 3 - CAD Models
Once your design concept has been finalized and an order placed, we will create a computerized (CAD) model which displays multi-angled renderings of your piece. We will send your CAD model images to you to approve or request modifications to your design.
Step 4 - Approval & Finished Piece
Upon your final approval, our production team will cast your design in the recycled precious metal of your choice. Your gemstones are then meticulously set by our expert craftsmen. Your beautifully finished piece is then thoroughly inspected by our Quality Assurance team and shipped in our distinctive packaging.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE A CUSTOM DESIGN?
Rings take a minimum of 15 business days. On average, rings and accessories are complete within 4 weeks. We recommend ordering no later than a month in advance if you have a strict timeline.
CAN YOU REPLICATE A DESIGN FROM AN IMAGE?
Creating an exact replicate is extremely difficult. However, we employ some of the most talented designers who create close-to-identical designs. The more images you submit illustrating the different angles of your desired jewelry, the better it will help us craft it.

We proudly handcraft all fine jewelry within South Africa using the finest precious metals and conflict-free gems.
CAN I PUT A RUSH ON A CUSTOM ORDER?
This is dependant on the design and specifications. Please submit your delivery deadline in your request form and we will confirm if it is possible.
DO YOU ONLY MAKE CUSTOM RINGS?
No! Our custom design team can help you custom design any type of fine jewelry including engagement rings, wedding bands, everyday rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and cufflinks!
HOW MUCH MORE IS A CUSTOM RING THAN A STANDARD RING?
A custom ring does not necessarily cost more than a standard ring. You can work one-on-one with your custom design specialist to create a design that fits within your budget.
